MSB

The default mode in REx. Built for intraday traders who want to be first in — before the crowd confirms the move.

MSB Mode is a market structure method based on fast trend changes.
It is designed mainly for intraday traders and is identified after a break, using the most recent opposite high or low before the point of the break to define the first range point.

What it means: A potential reversal. The market has broken structure earlier, before it reaches the extreme swing, giving you a head start on a trend shift.

MSB fires earlier than BOS. Same break, different counter — different range, different Order Block placement.

OB Placement in MSB Mode

The counter point — the structural level that defines the boundary of the range — is the most recent swing high or low found between the break point and the previous range extreme.

The OB candle is the last opposite candle before that recent counter point.
The zone is tighter and sits closer to the break — the counter is nearby, so the search window is narrow.
Reacts faster. Best for intraday entries where precision matters more than context.

INFO

Switching to BOS moves the counter to the most extreme level — producing a wider zone further from the break.
