Appearance
#2 AOI Setup (LTF)
Two timeframes aligning at the same level. An LTF SFP wicks into an HTF zone — the zone provides the context, the SFP provides the trigger, the CHoCH confirms the move.
AOI LTF (Area of Interest — Lower Timeframe) fires when an LTF SFP wick enters an HTF zone (OB, BB, or FVG), then the LTF confirms with a CHoCH.
Two timeframes agreeing at the same level — the zone provides the rejection, the SFP confirms it happened.
Requirements
| 1. | HTF AOI — an active Order Block, Breaker Block, or FVG on the higher timeframe. For FVGs, only untested or tested states qualify — mitigated FVGs are excluded. Multiple zones can overlap at the same level (e.g., OB+FVG). |
| 2. | L-SFP — LTF Swing Failure Pattern whose wick enters the HTF zone. |
| 3. | LTF CHoCH — LTF confirms reversal after the SFP. The CHoCH must close inside or beyond the zone on the rejection side. |
Example

BTCUSDT 4H / 1D — bearish HTF trend. L-SFP wicks into HTF zone. LTF CHoCH confirms. Price resumes bearish trend.
Best For
Zone-based entries at HTF OB, BB, or FVG boundaries.
Higher conviction than the LOI setup — less frequent.
INFO
When a high-probability FVG (★) is part of the zone overlap, it adds extra confluence — REx marks it in the alert output.
