Troubleshooting
Something not displaying correctly or alerts not firing? Start here. Most issues come down to a few common causes.
| Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|
| Nothing showing on chart | Scroll back in history — REx needs enough bars to detect structure. Check Auto HTF mapping for unsupported timeframes. |
| Zone disappeared | Mitigated (did its job), violated (became BB), or TradingView's 500-box limit reached. Enable Hide Historical to free up space. |
| FVG disappeared | Hide Inactive is ON, or FVG mitigated at 50% / 100% depending on your setting. |
| +SFP never became SFP | HTF bar closed without confirming. Working as intended — filters false triggers. |
| CHoCH line disappeared | The source SFP level was broken. Setup invalidated — indicator self-corrected. |
| Alerts not firing | Must be created manually in TradingView. Alerts only fire on closed candles. Check your tier for alert access. |
| Chart lagging | Turn off unused features: Internal Structure, LTF Structure, FVG, SFP Lines. |
| MSB shows but not BOS | Expected. Different counter-selection logic. Both engines run simultaneously — view one at a time via the Mode dropdown. |
